How To Use The Law Of Attraction For Mental Health {Video}

If you’ve been struggling with mental health issues, it’s going to be really hard to manifest money, a healthy relationship or other things.

You see, manifesting your dream life is like building a huge castle on top of a hill of sand. Without a strong foundation, your manifestations can come tumbling down with the slightest shakeup.

And we don’t want that, do we?

So if you’re one of those lucky people who has it all together 100%– I commend you!

But if you’re struggling with mental health, first you need to know that you’re not alone.

Second, be aware that while traditional mental health practices are necessary (and please seek professional help if you need it) — you should throw everything you have at it so you can feel better as quickly as possible.

In the blog post and video below, I’m going to share the simple manifesting ritual that I used to help pull myself out of depression and anxiety.

I hope it helps bring you peace.

The Mental Health Manifestation Ritual

The actual mental health manifestation ritual is simple. Keep in mind that you should tailor it to work for you, however.

What I did for about three months straight was spend a little time each day talking to my ancestors, out loud.

You’ll have to choose whoever or whatever you feel comfortable with — be it God, the Universe, your higher self, your future self, angels, spirit guides, ancestors, Mother Earth… or nothing at all.

But the thing is you need to vocalize what’s going on in your life and what your thought process is.

I liked to imagine that my ancestors loved me and wanted me to succeed, and they were there patiently listening to me and comforting me in my time of need.

And it worked!

In the beginning I would cry a LOT. It was so painful.

But over time I gradually began to heal my depression and anxiety and would wind up just chatting or laughing about silly things. And I started to actually feel good!

Not A Replacement For Professional Help

Please remember, though, that this is not a replacement for professional help. Rather, it’s a supplement.

The thing is, though, that counseling for me was once every two weeks — sometimes longer. And while I absolutely credit that with helping my mental health issues subside, there’s something to be said for purging those nasty feelings and thoughts every single day.

Because if you’re facing depression or anxiety, you already know that it doesn’t wait.

It doesn’t allow you to function normally and then gather itself up to be dealt with during the one hour you’re on the therapist’s couch. It’s a 24/7 thing, and you need to work at it every single day!

Journaling Isn’t Enough

Many people (myself included) keep journals or confide in friends or family members during tough times, too. And those things are helpful too. But again — it’s different. And not enough.

For starters, if you’re anxious or depressed you probably worry that you’re being annoying by bothering your friends and family with your problems. You likely feel like you’re not worth it and don’t want to inconvenience anybody.

Also, it can be hard to open up about deeper feelings and experiences you’ve had to bring you where you are today.

Additionally, journaling is a valid way to release. But talking is better, stronger and different.

The intention behind something so powerful can move mountains for you.

Here’s how it works, step-by-step.

Mental Health Manifesting Ritual Instructions

1- Make sure you’ll be alone, undisturbed and unheard for at least five to ten minutes

2- Light a candle if you have one. If you have photos of ancestors you’d like to connect with, feel free to use those as well.

3- Take a few long breaths. Inhale and exhale as slowly and deeply as you can to get centered and grounded. Allow all the stress and gunk to clear out of your body and mind.

4- Gently begin to let it flow. However you’re feeling, whatever is on your mind. Don’t be afraid to cry. Let it out and allow yourself to feel whatever needs to be felt in that moment.

5- Pay attention to thoughts you have and any bodily sensations you experience. Are you warmer, cooler, do you feel tingling, do you hear yourself and start to feel like you have some of the answers?

6- Take a pen and paper (or write online) how the session went. Jot down any “aha” moments and note any physical or emotional sensations experienced.

7- Give thanks for the experience and the help, say goodbye, and put your things away.

Special Cases & Considerations

I know everybody’s situation is different. So maybe you don’t have space or time to do things exactly as I’ve said. That’s totally fine.

Remember, it’s all about you.

You make the rules.

I’m just here to share what’s worked best for me, but you do what you need to do to make it fit your lifestyle.

So if you don’t have personal space to do a candle ritual, ditch the candle and maybe spend five minutes alone in your car deep breathing and talking.

Or go to a park or beach or even for a walk or jog and get your solitude and speaking out there.

If you can do the ritual but maybe not every day, that’s fine too. Do what you can. Once you start to see things improving and notice how much lighter you feel, you’ll probably make it a priority. I know I did!

Finally, if you don’t have time to do anything, commit to just ONE minute of meditation every day.

Nothing fancy, just breathing deeply in and out for sixty seconds, telling yourself things are going according to plan and everything is working out the way it should.

Little actions add up to big results. But consistency is key.

Final Thoughts

I hope you’ve found some inspiration and hope through this blog post and the accompanying video. I can’t promise that it’ll be the thing that starts to tip the scales in your favor. But I can promise that if you show up every day and put forth a little effort and have a little faith, your inner magic will shine outward and things will start to look up again.

Wishing you love, light, and magic,

-Alex
